This was made by Chuck!

This is one area I think I do uniquely. Besides doing a close remake of pieces that are in the gallery, I am also open to dyeing pieces you send to me.
Have a favorite dress with a wine stain? Maybe a T-shirt with a killer silk screen that really needs some tie-dye to go with it? If its made of all natural fibers (cotton, linen, ramie, silk etc...) I can fix you up! We will need to correspond via e-mail and phone to make sure I have a clear idea what you're after as far as colors, pattern choices, whatever. If you don't really know what to ask for, it will still be O.K. I am really good at working with the unusual pieces. The same goes for putting a dye with a preexisting silk screen.

She's Chuck's girlfriend, too!

Lets see if I can explain how I do these kinds of pieces. First I need to correspond with you by phone or e-mail to get some information, then I kinda hang out with the article to be dyed, get the feel of the style, colors, shape and cut as they apply to each garment. Then I pre-visualize several different versions of the finished job. Of course I pick the version that a) most closely meets what I think you are looking for, and b) works the best with that particular garment. I like the challenge of doing the unusual pieces and creating a dye job to fit a particular piece and person. Beside liking the challenge, I am very confident of success on this sort of project. If you are interested in some work of this sort, please e-mail me and we'll talk. I will do a simple T-shirt that has a silk screen on the front only for $8.00 plus postage. The price for other things will of course depend on the project, but I do try and keep my prices reasonable. Have I mentioned that I have a really strong talent for dyeing dresses and other ladies wear? It comes from a deep appreciation of the female form in all its shapes and sizes, knowing what I think looks good, and working on learning what women think looks good.
Here are few things to consider sending to me for custom work: dresses, T-shirts, dress shirts or blouses, table cloths, sweaters or sweatshirts. Let your imagination run wild, this is your chance to have a pro working directly for you! Stained stuff can be made to look new again, new stuff can be made to look better than it ever has! Buy a dress or outfit you really like (new or gently used) and send it to me, I'll fix you right up with a real one of a kind creation! If anyone out there ever wanted to make an all out wedding dress in tie dye, I would love to be in on the project! And of course, the groom would need a tie dyed cummerbund as well!
Thanks, and I hope to see lots of this kind of request!
Chuck
